Rick Perry's Lost Debate Opportunity

Rick Perry, Debates and Immigration

By Russell D. Longcore
www.DumpDC.com

In Thursday night’s political theater presentation, aka “debate,” Texas Governor Rick Perry got buttonholed by Senator Rick Santorum about the Texas law that allows children of illegal immigrants to attend Texas colleges for the in-state tuition fees. He made a somewhat impassioned defense of it, and said that opponents have “no heart.”

The Governor was handed an opportunity to hammer his opponents, and it appears that he was entirely unaware that the hammer was at his disposal.

More is the pity.

Here is what the Guvna could have said in a stern, lecturing voice that would have set the rest of the field…and the audience…back on their heels:

“Texas is a state. Texas is not America, and it is not Washington. Under that old tattered, ignored Constitution, states could do pretty much what they damn well pleased. It was the Washington government, the creation of the states, that had all the restrictions. The legislation to provide college tuition aid to the children of illegal immigrants that live in Texas was passed by the Texas legislature, men and women duly elected by the people of Texas, and I signed it into law in 2001. If the sovereign citizens of Texas did not want this legislation to pass, their elected representatives would not have passed it. If Texans also wanted to buy those students an Ipod, a Slushie and a red balloon, they could do it. You know why? BECAUSE TEXAS IS A STATE. We Texans are paying for that tuition subsidy out of our own pockets. About 1 percent of college students at Texas’ public schools are illegal immigrants who qualify for in-state tuition under the law I signed.”

“And to the charge by former Governor Romney that we are creating a “magnet” for illegals and not offering such a discount to out-of-state students, I say this: MIND YOUR OWN DAMNED BUSINESS, GOVERNOR. You are certainly entitled to your own opinion about this issue, but the only opinions I care about regarding this issue are the opinions of the voters in Texas.”

“And to you in the audience who booed me about this issue, I say this: Get a copy of the US Constitution and read it. The states are made up of what Jefferson called WE THE PEOPLE in the Preamble to the Constitution. It is the People who hold ultimate authority in America, not Washington. The states were meant to be the greatest laboratories of liberty ever devised by human minds. If you and your fellow state citizens decide to build a bridge of steel or of Lego blocks, and you pay for it, it’s nobody’s business but YOURS unless you ask some other state to pay for it. So rather than showing your ignorance of civics with your booing, shut up and start reading.”

Rick’s poll numbers would have jumped by 20%. But maybe that's a side of Rick Perry that doesn't exist at all. Perhaps in his quest to have America love him, he's cashed in his loyalty to his state and to Federalism. Maybe he never had either.

Texas as a Safe Haven Nation, Magnet For Wealth Preservation 2

by Russell D. Longcore
www.DumpDC.com

(Editor’s Note: Previous article updated.)

The famous (and very accurate) trend watcher Gerald Celente has written about the concept of Safe Haven Nations (SHNs). A SHN is simply a sovereign nation that has implemented laws that protect the wealth and privacy of individuals, and is a place to which people could relocate.

Wealthy people worldwide are constant prey for rapacious predator governments. They are easy targets, since most everyone wants to be a wealthy individual, but many who are not wealthy resent them. And, with predictable regularity, governments create class warfare and class envy, so the lower class supports the government’s efforts to confiscate the assets of the wealthy class.

Wealthy people worldwide are also on the lookout for venues where they can store their wealth securely. Used to be that Switzerland was the “gold standard” of wealth preservation and privacy for the world. But recently, the US and EU governments went after the Swiss, and Swiss bank UBS agreed to disclose the identities of nearly 5,000 American citizens who have secure bank accounts in Switzerland. My understanding is that this disclosure violates Swiss banking law, but they are doing it anyway.

Wealthy people are often willing to relocate to another nation when they are forced to save their own lives. Sometimes, the wealthy have to leave mansions, bank accounts and other assets behind in a predator nation just to save their own skin. Recall Captain Georg von Trapp and the movie “The Sound of Music.” They did not actually walk out of Austria to escape the Nazis, but fled to Italy by train. But ask others from Vietnam, Iraq, Germany, South Africa and Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) about leaving with nothing but the clothes you are wearing.

In the event of a complete collapse of the dollar and the financial tsunami that will wash over the world, immigrating to a new country may be quite difficult, perhaps even impossible. Predator nations will do everything that they can do to prevent capital flight and may even prohibit emigration. Borders may seal tight and travel may be severely restricted.

Texas secession and the formation of a New Texas provides an historic opportunity for Texas to become the newest and most secure Safe Haven Nation. The people who will craft the new constitution for a New Texas should look to the banking and privacy laws of the nation of Lichtenstein for a template.

Nations like Panama are attracting wealth from all over the world. Others are:

Singapore
Hong Kong
Anguilla
The Bahamas
Bermuda
St.Kitts/Nevis
Cayman Islands

Panama had superior privacy laws until 2010, when Panamanian President Ricardo Martinelli bowed to Washington’s pressure and entered into a tax treaty with Washington.

The problem with the list above is expatriation. These are islands and entities of small geographic size. Many have very restrictive immigration laws. So, they are limited on how many people they could allow to emigrate to their shores. Texas, however, is immense. And with an immigration policy based on the free market, could become a worldwide magnet for wealth and wealthy individuals.

Immigration law will have to be enacted that offers a procedure for an expatriate to either gain dual citizenship or individual citizenship through a fee arrangement.

The New Texas should create a single source of taxation for the new nation...the Sales Tax, set in the new constitution no more than 10%, only changeable by referendum. No property tax. No Capital Gains tax. No inheritance taxes, No ad valorem tax. No tariffs. Everyone that spends money in New Texas pays the sales tax...from Little Johnny buying a pack of Watermelon Bubblicious to the largest commercial transactions. Details another time.

If a New Texas has no income tax, no inheritance tax and no capital gains tax, that will be a good start. But it will need to go further to attract wealth from all over the globe as a Safe Haven Nation. Banking law will need to protect the identity of anyone depositing assets in Texas. Texas will also have to refuse to enter into tax treaties with other nations, and then withstand the enormous pressure they bring to bear to comply.

Tax fraud is misleading a taxing entity and should be illegal. Tax evasion is the failure to declare assets, and is open to interpretation these days. Tax avoidance uses lawful means to minimize the amount of tax paid to any taxing entity. Many nations wish to blur the lines between tax evasion and tax avoidance. Texas should promote tax avoidance while offering absolute secrecy for individuals and corporations.

Texas should also create a constitutional law that provides for corporations to have bearer shares and no-par-value shares, as well as to operate with one director, who may also be the secretary, and who may reside outside of Texas. While annual meetings may be held anywhere, a registered office and agent must be in Texas, but no information concerning shareholders or directors needs to be disclosed. The minute book, resolutions, seal and shareholder register must be kept at the registered office. Most SHNs have these laws already.

If you are seeking a Safe Haven nation, you might consider moving your wealth and your family to Texas now. Texas as a US state is the leading economic engine of the USA. Very pro-business, very independent. Lots of wealth already there. If any state of the Union is going to successfully secede, my money’s on Texas.

If you see the writing on the wall in your country (or state), and know that you must expatriate to a new country, the time is NOW to begin preparations. Your plans must be in place and executed before a meltdown in your country or state occurs. After the meltdown, it might be too late. You may become an inmate of Prison Planet.

The Fair Tax? No Thank You

Sales Tax for A New Nation? Yes, Please!

by Russell D. Longcore
DumpDC.com

As the most recent “silly season” of a presidential election is beginning, the FairTax idea is being bandied about once again. The FairTax is a concept promoted in "The FairTax Book" by talk show host Neal Boortz and Republican Congressman John Linder. It is basically a national retail sales tax that is meant to replace ALL Federal taxation. Boortz’s idea overlays a national sales tax on a 50-state America. But it has some dangerous and ill-conceived downsides.

First, and most important to me…is that the FairTax seeks to solve the problem of taxation for the United States of America. We here at DumpDC do not care about the future of the USA. We seek to bring our influence to bear…such as it is…to encourage states to secede from the Union and become new nations. We’re all about secession here at DumpDC. So we are trying to convince a big dysfunctional nation that smaller is better, and that individual nations are better than the confederacy of serf states presently comprising the USA.

We believe that a national sales tax, unencumbered by tax loopholes, is the very best method of collecting taxes to operate any government. But many features of the FairTax don’t make any sense for a new nation. I wrote about taxation in a New Texas HERE.

Next…the FairTax tries to be “revenue neutral.” That means that it seeks to collect roughly the same amount of money in taxation that the Federal Government presently plunders from Americans. But Washington is a Category 5 spending hurricane, destroying the nation with taxation and inflation while it continues to borrow trillions so it can spend even more. For the FairTax to be revenue neutral is to reward the current criminal and unconstitutional behavior of the Congress and whatever President occupies the White House.

In a seceded state…a new nation…there will be no Social Security and Medicare. There will be no gaggle of three-letter bureaucracies that gobble up tax money. If the new nation creates their national money based upon gold and silver, there will be no central bank. I contend that the national sales tax should be set in the new nation’s Constitution at 10%, and alterable only by a Constitutional amendment.

Next…in the first edition of the FairTax Book released in 2005, America has not yet begun the runaway economic train to oblivion. So Boortz makes a lot of statements that are no longer true now that it’s six years later. For example, Boortz talks about how the FairTax will make America so attractive that corporations who have moved operations offshore will flock back to the USA to take advantage of the business-friendly taxation of the FairTax. But in 2005, Congress had not completed the bailout of the banks, the auto makers, and some insurance companies. Congress and the President had not borrowed trillions of dollars over and above taxation. No stimulus packages had been enacted. And, the US Dollar was not in imminent danger of collapse back then. Besides, big business did not move their operations offshore just because of taxation. Labor costs, the costs of crushing regulations, and even some raw materials costs, are drastically reduced or eliminated outside the USA. So I contend that most US businesses with offshore operations would stay right there…offshore.

The FairTax as proposed will be assessed as a national sales tax at 23% on all goods and services sold at the retail level. The sales of used or formerly owned goods would not be subject to the sales tax. So sales transactions between individuals would not be subject to the FairTax.

Chapter 9: The FairTax ‘Prebate’...The Key To Fairness

Boortz takes the first six chapters building a case against the tax loopholes that the Washington special interest lobbies have successfully gained over the years. He tells us how outrageous it is that certain groups get tax exemptions at the expense of others. But then Boortz creates his own tax exempt group for the FairTax, and then goes one better. The FairTax places ALL Americans on the government dole. That this idea came from a purported Libertarian should boggle your mind. At the very least, it should bring into severe question the Libertarianism of the authors.

The FairTax is based on the premises that “the poor” should not have to pay the Federal tax, and that none of us should have to pay the FairTax for the necessities of life. Boortz/Linder propose what they call a “prebate”…a monthly check issued in Washington, that allegedly reimburses “every family for the sales tax that the family will pay on all spending up to the Federal Poverty Level…” Presently in 2011, the Federal Poverty Level is $22,350.00 for a family of four. That’s American poverty for you…an inflation-distorted income level where most families have refrigerators, microwaves, multiple TVs, cell phones, computers and an automobile.

But I ask you…why should anyone be exempt from paying a national sales tax? Even if the poor are on government assistance right now, they pay state sales tax on most purchases. They drive the same roads, get the same fire and police protection, and receive many of the other benefits of civilized society that the rest of us that DO pay taxes also receive. In the FairTax book, page 88, Boortz says, “For them, it’s all benefit and no burden.” Further, many of the poor receive thousands of dollars in government assistance that NONE of the rest of us enjoy, simply because they are lumped into the group known as “the poor.”

I contend that in a new nation that created a national sales tax as its only revenue source, no human being would be exempt from taxation. Little Johnny buying his bubble gum would pay, just like the richest person in the nation. No favorites. No class warfare. No income tax. No other forms of taxation. Just a national sales tax.

Chapter 10: Underground and Offshore Economy…Taxed At Last!

Before we begin looking at this chapter, just contemplate that chapter title for a moment. “Taxed At Last??” Since when does a Libertarian have a goal to tax more people and gain more revenue for DC? Isn’t the essence of individual liberty and property rights found in avoiding taxation to the limits of the law?

This chapter proves that the ridiculous IRS code has an unintended consequence, which is tax evasion. Of course it does. There will ALWAYS be an underground economy…a “black market”…when there is taxation enforced or when there is some prohibition enacted against goods or services for which there is a public demand. In like manner, the IRS code has created an offshore economy as Congress has enacted tax loophole legislation. But Boortz goes a little crazy on page 96 when he says, “But there’s an even larger tax-avoidance drag on our economy: those who avoid taxes absolutely legally.”

A drag on our economy? By avoiding taxes legally? Neal, whose side are you on?

Even though the underground economy does not pay income taxes, it pays sales taxes when it spends its money. So, with liberty in mind, we should be much more concerned with minimizing government taxation and maximizing individual liberty and property rights.

Then, on page 100, Neal steps over the line of reason. He equates laundering money from criminal activity with legally keeping an offshore bank account. Quote: “If a criminal stashes his ill-gotten gains in one of these (Offshore Financial Centers), all he needs is a simple debit card issued by that offshore bank to access his funds…it’s estimated that 1-2 million Americans are using such accounts.”

Then, on page 104, Boortz says something that makes me think that he does not understand basic economics. He states that trillions of dollars in American wealth sits offshore. Quote: “This is money that is not creating jobs and driving economic growth in our country…and would come flowing back home if the income tax…were replaced by the FairTax.”

But capital does not create jobs all on its own. And capital's reason for existence is not to create jobs...it is to create profit for those holding the capital. Basic economics says that demand for a product or service motivates entrepreneurs to create those products and services to satisfy the demand. Jobs are the labor costs of any goods and services. Capital that creates goods or services without a demand wastes capital...like communism did in the Soviet Union. Demand comes first, Neal…not capital. And demand can be as simple as your stomach growling. Demand is destroyed by runaway government spending and inflation which plunders capital and evaporates its value. Get rid of runaway spending and inflation and people will once again have the discretionary income to satisfy their demands.

Chapter 12: The Opposition: Where Will It Come From?

Neal hauls out the bogeymen who will naysay his self-perceived brilliance. He talks about how Americans cheat on their taxes as a matter of course. But most Americans practice tax avoidance, not tax evasion. And under a 23% national sales tax, there will be a new wave of tax avoidance. But tax avoidance is not tax evasion. Evasion is fraudulent and illegal. Avoidance is intelligent money management. Boortz blurs the line between the two extremes.

I thought Neal Boortz was a Libertarian. He says he is a Libertarian. Libertarians embrace smaller government. But what is there about creating a taxation system that sends every American a monthly check that sounds even remotely Libertarian?

The answer? There is nothing about the FairTax that is either sensible or Libertarian. It is yet another big-government shell game, designed to perpetuate the out-of-control spending of the Congress at present levels. Boortz says he doesn't MEAN to do that, but it still happens nonetheless. Once again, the law of unintended consequences wins.

The FairTax also exposes a certain political naiveté of Boortz. Who really believes that the FairTax would never exceed 23%? Who believes that the FairTax would ever be less than 23%? Who believes that Congress would EVER pass the FairTax into law? Who believes that the FairTax would have any effect on Congressional spending?

So here's your choice, America. Choose between a 23% Federal sales tax added on top of whatever sales taxes you pay on the state and local level...which could EASILY total 30% or more, and 10% taxation in a state that becomes a nation by secession.

30% or 10%. Hhhmmmm....

It's the biggest no-brainer in the history of earth.

Here’s the money quote for today: Secession will happen LONG before the FairTax happens. Even if all of us do nothing to promote our ideas, reality is going to cause the United States government, the US Dollar and the America economy to collapse. Which do you think will arise from the ashes of the USA…secession or the FairTax?

Secession is the Hope For Mankind. Who will be first?

Will Austin Become “Liberty Central” or “Little Washington?”

by Russell D. Longcore
DumpDC.com

The Texas Nationalist Movement is working hard to sell secession to its fellow Texans. And some state here in the not good ol’ USA is eventually going to succeed at seceding. But there are a lot of very complicated issues facing any state that will have to be settled in advance.

Texas has as good a chance at secession success as any…maybe even better. They have a long memory about independence, having fought for that independence from Mexico in 1836. But in reality, Texas was only a nation for nine years! They lost their minds in 1845 and assumed their place in American statehood. They’ve been a subservient slave state for 166 years. But at least they WERE a nation before becoming a state. Everyone makes mistakes. Forgive them.

So Texas could have the best chance of becoming the first new nation. But will Austin, the state capitol, become a beacon of liberty for the rest of the world, or simply a smaller version of Washington DC?

24.6 million people live in Texas. Let’s estimate that half are registered voters. If the Nationalists can get a referendum for secession on a state-wide ballot someday, then about 6.2 million Texans will have to vote ‘Yes’ for secession. That’s a pretty tall order. Not impossible, but daunting.

But that’s when the work begins.

Listed below are just 20 of the issues that Texans would have to settle in order to build a new nation.

1. A formal Declaration of Independence and Secession would have to be written and ratified, likely by the legislature and signed by the Governor. A date for presenting that document to someone like the sitting US President would have to be chosen.

2. The actual form of the new government must be chosen. Will it be a Constitutional Republic…a Parliament…or what? Remember that this is a new constitution for a single nation, not a confederacy of nations. The new constitution doesn’t need to be articles of confederation, but should be more like the Virginia Constitution of 1776 or the Swiss canton system.

3. Will all the existing politicians in Texas have to stand for election in the new government? The present legislators in Austin are infected with statism and opponents of sovereignty. I nominate Daniel Miller, president of the Texas Nationalist Movement, as the first President of New Texas. Why not Ron Paul? Doctor Paul has spent too many years in the belly of the beast. No person who has aspirations to be the American president gets my approval.

4. Monetary policy is the keystone of the new nation. All commerce, and the very existence of New Texas hangs on this one issue. But if Texas decides to adopt any monetary policy other than 100% gold/silver dollar, it will have swallowed the poison pill of Keynesianism before its life even begins. No government in the history of mankind has devalued its money and survived. Not One.

4. Courts system – Will the new Texas begin with a clean slate, or will it adopt the corrupt American court precedents existing today? You can predict that entrenched interests in the legal system will attempt to tie up the secession in court forever. Where will Texas find judges that are pro-secession? Will Texans allow themselves to be drawn into Federal legal battles when the US should have no jurisdiction in secession?

5. What method of tax collection will the new nation choose? Any income tax will likely foment yet another revolution. I recommend a flat sales tax that applies to everyone.

6. There are a lot of Federal lands and military bases in Texas. Will the new nation buy them from Washington or simply confiscate them? And why should the New Texas national government presume that it should own the former Federal lands and bases? Should they not be sold to private parties?

7. The new Texas will have to create an immigration policy. Not only is there the existing problem with the Texas/Mexican border, but hundreds of thousands of Americans will want to relocate to Texas to take part in the birth of the new nation.

8. Millions of Texans presently receive Social Security benefits of some sort. What will happen to their benefits after secession? Will Washington cut them off in retaliation? Will Texas assume that obligation? Not if they have any brains whatsoever.

9. Privatization of state services – will Texas try to set up new bureaucracies to deliver mail, collect the taxes, etc? The free market always performs better than government, and no compelling reason can be made for government services.

9. Will the new Texas continue with the failed War on Drugs, or recognize that drugs are morally equal to alcohol and lift its prohibition?

10. What will the New Texas do about a military? Will it embrace a national militia like Switzerland, or establish Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines?

11. Foreign policy issues will involve border states and other sovereign nations. Will New Texas make the same foreign policy blunders that Washington loves to make?

12. Will New Texas assume the liability of a Medicare/Medicaid system?

13. Will New Texas protect religious liberty and eschew religious subsidy? After all, there is no practical reason that religious organizations and churches should enjoy tax-free status at the expense of the rest of the population. This issue will be decided as New Texas forms tax policy.

14. Insurance makes the world go around. New Texas will need the wisdom of Solomon in its Department of Insurance to properly regulate insurance companies.

15. Securities law must be enacted. But copying the corrupt FTC and SEC won’t work.

16. How many of the existing US Cabinet departments will find a place in the New Texas government? New Texas would probably run fine without most of the unconstitutional bureaucracies operating in Washington today. Copying Washington won’t work.

17. Texas is a microcosm of all the environmental issues facing America today. The “greenies” will fight hard to continue some of the dumb environmental laws in New Texas. They have money and they are patient.

18. New Texas will have to make an early decision on public education. Will New Texas continue the failed policies of the federal Department of Education and the deathgrip of the teacher’s unions?

19. Texas has great colleges and universities. What will happen to them when Federal money dries up? More importantly, will Texas football teams be thrown out of American football conferences and the BCS? God help us.

20. New Texas will need an intelligent Energy policy which embraces nuclear energy, oil and gas, and alternative sources. Texas must throw off the American regulations that prohibit new nuclear power plants. 100% of the electricity for New Texas should come from nuclear power.

Texas has the real chance to become the freest place on earth. But it won’t achieve that status if it simply becomes Washington West. The reason for secession is Washington and statism. The men and women crafting a New Texas must keep their vision of liberty in our lifetimes always before them as they do their holy work.

Secession is the only hope for mankind. Who will be first?

Texas Bill Proposed Will Use Drunk Driving to Advance Another Police State Precedent of Putting A Mark on A Persons ID if Convicted of DUI/DWI

It is common among tyrants to use a group of people in society as a stepping stone adding another tier on the control grid in a police state. Hitler used the Jews and Gypsies to demonize and subjugate to advance the tyrannical agenda of the Third Reich. This is a tactic to have full control over society in the end game. There is a bill proposed and submitted in the state house in Texas. If we do not keep watch on our state legislators. Bills like these slip through under the radar when we are not paying attention. So what bill has me concerned?
The piece of legislation that has me worried is Texas HB-137 drafted and Submitted by Rep. Gallego. This bill if it becomes law adds another slippery slide towered despotism.Using the offense of Driving under the influence of alcohol .This bill will mandate the state to put a designation or marking on a person's State ID or Drivers License who has been convicted of offense of Driving under the influence of alcohol . People for this bill will say"We need to stop those drunks from driving and to keep the streets safe"or "We have to stop these drunks drivers who are a danger on the roads". The best one is I can see being used is"This bill would stop them drunks drivers from getting beer if a store clerk sees the markings on their ID. This bill will save lives if passed keeping alcoholic beverages out of habitual drunk drivers" I can see a M.A.D.D spokesmen pushing for this bill saying the talking points to sell this legislation.Sounds much like Gun Control by Handgun Inc. saying the new law will take guns out of the hands of criminals.Habitual Drunk Drivers and criminals will do what they want no matter what law is in place. No tough Drunk Driving law stopped illegal aliens from driving drunk. HB-137 will not make a difference because many people not lawfully here it does not address. This law will not apply if they carry a Mexican Consulate I.D..It only applies to people who have Texas drivers licenses .This bill if becomes law will not stop Illegal immigrants from driving under the influence.
What is most frightening about this bill if it becomes law.The Department of Homeland Security can use Texas as a model to put the US governments seal of approval or designation on everyone's driver licenses or I.D.s that determines if you can get an apartment, Buy a car,fly on an airplane or do business. It can tell if you are on a terrorist watch list or someone dissenter. This bill must not become law in Texas.Using the issue of Drunk Driving is just the camels nose getting under the tent flap.Once inside the abuses start.
The biggest flaw I will say again in this bill that has not addressed is the illegal alien drunk drivers who have IDs issued by the Mexican consulate. Reading the text of the legislation there is nothing about addressing the illegal aliens who carry the Consulate IDs who drive with no license or up to date stickers on their vehicles. This is an unfair bill because a good ratio of Illegal Alien drunk drivers are responsible for a good number of fatalities on Texas roads. How will this law be enforced on an Illegal alien who carries the Mexican Consulate ID and has no Texas state issued ID  being convicted of drunk driving. How can it be applied to the Illegal Alien who has no State Issued ID but has the Mexican ID. HB-137 must not pass. This bill has nothing to do with stopping Drunk Drivers by marking their Drivers License. Have a DUI/DWI conviction is just the start. We can see these markings for making the classification as a domestic extremist or worse. No fly,No buy and No job. It is scary to think about how this can be used in the future. The sky is the limit for abuses by the tyrants in Washington DC. Today Drunk Drivers. We have to think about who is next?
HB-137 if bill becomes law will not stop anything it was intended to do. All I can see is this expanding going after other groups of people as time goes by. I can see the abuses happening before they even start. Using offenses involving intoxication behind the wheel in a car is just getting the foot in the door using the lowest common denominator in society as a Trojan Horse to be used on everybody when it is all said and done. After September 11, 2001.They went after and demonized the Muslims as the threat to America. They cried they needed to pass the Patriot Act to go after these Muslim Terrorist or we will not be safe. Now that same law is now used on the American people. The Patriot Act now is the very threat to our safety and liberty it was claimed to protect. The very issue they said will not happen to the American people is now putting us in the governments cross heirs as the enemy.  HB-137 says they will go after the drinkers who were caught driving drunk. If bill becomes law will just be the beginning starting with the drunk drivers.Tomorrow who is next? Can you see a pattern?I sure do.

Texas Went Into the Wrong Court Fighting the EPA

Governor Rick Perry and Attorney General Greg Abbot went into the wrong court fighting the Environmental Protection Agency. The Attorney General should have went into the State Supreme Court to make the case that the EPA has no jurisdiction in the State of Texas and second to see what legal actions can be taken against the Federal Government when it violates State law. That means arresting Federal agents who have no lawful authority over our industry and natural resources.
For the State of Texas to go into the Federal Courts fighting the EPA in a defensive posture is like asking the wolves to keep the foxes out of the hen house. In the Supreme Court Landmark Decision were state rights won in Printz ,Mack vs.Brady Bill. Texas can erect its own barriers against Federal Encroachments without pleading in the Federal Courts. We do not need the Federal Courts at all to achieve this. Texas already has the legal authority without needing a Federal Black Robed Demon's permission to do something we already have the legal right to do anyway.
It think it is time for the EPA come into the Texas Supreme Court and justify constitutional legality of their actions to take over state matters. The State supreme court too can give the clarification for state constitutional officers like the County Sheriff the power to arrest and detain the Federal Agents who violate state law and people's rights. It is time Texas make the rules for the Feds. These agents must play by our rules inside the State boundaries. If Texas sticks to its guns and follows through on its decision. The Feds will back off and we can take steps towards independence so we do not have to waste our time with this nonsense again. Texas does not need to go into Federal Court to erect barriers against the EPA. Only the thing we need is the moral fortitude of our leaders to enforce the law of the land and guts to be defiant against a lawless usurper in the White House. If Texas stands up. Many other states will follow.

Texas needs to have a Constitutional Standoff with EPA and Obama Administration's Power Grab

On January 2,2011 the new EPA rules go into effect. The State of Texas will not follow these new EPA rules. Attorney General Greg Abbot is suing the EPA over the new regulations. The State of Texas refuses to follow the new EPA regulations over green house gases and new carbon rules that would cripple Texas economically . Now with no law passed by congress using unelected bureaucrats and illegal decrees by the Obama Administration. This President decided to assume and take over issuing to greenhouse permits to refineries and power plants when there is no law saying they can do it. A function reserved for the State of Texas lawfully by law.
The State legislator in Texas meets January 11, 2011 in Austin for the 82nd session. They should move quickly to enact laws with teeth enforcing state sovereignty.  I think this is an opportunity for Texas to make a stand and tell the Obama Administration that he can not assume power he does not have. Texas should not hesitate to use the county sheriffs to back it up if necessary state law and state rights. 2011 should be the year the states push back against White House.
This Administration will not stop assuming power unless we push him back saying "Not in Texas". "Not here" . "Not never". The Lone Star state Gov. Rick Perry should draw the line with the EPA if necessary back up the words with arrest of Federal agents if they violate State law. We have to send a message to the Obama administration. There are laws and his office does have limitations on what he can do and what he can not do. This narcissist in the oval office and Chicago mobster needs to know"Don't Mess With Texas"

Young Men Might Soon Feel The Draft Getting Their Drivers License in Texas. Bill Proposed in Texas House Will Automaticly Register Applicant for Selective Service when Getting Drivers License If Bill Becomes Law.

Does any remember the controversy over the Motor Voter law were anyone can register to vote when  getting a drivers license at the agency that issues them. In a state like Texas many illegal aliens are able to register to vote because many of them have drivers licenses. The Motor Voter Law has been connected to a lot of voter fraud with people who should not be on the voter rolls.
Now there is legislation proposed and filed in the Texas State Legislator. Texas House Bill 80 drafted and Filed by Representative Daniel Flynn. Any male between 18 and 26 if they have not registered with Selective Service. When they renew their License or State Issued Identification will be registered for Selective Service under bill if becomes law. Renewing Drivers License and State ID automatically gives the State consent to register the person for selective service without the applicants knowledge if they have not registered. I can see the Illegal Aliens being registered for Selective Service which I am not comfortable with at all and lawsuits over religious exemptions.because many will not want to drafted to fight illegal and unconstitutional wars.
Many in Congress have proposed bringing back the draft. Now it might be a reality because the passage repealing Don't Ask Don't Tell allowing homosexuals to serve openly in the Armed forces. This will cause a mass exodus of qualified personal leaving the military under protest and a draft might be the only option to maintain a fighting force to keep these wars going if the Pentagon can not maintain recruiting goals as a consequence of repealing Don't Ask Don't Tell policy allowing Homosexuals to serve in the Military.
This bill must not pass. The Department of Defense should not be able to use this Texas proposed law as another avenue for conscription of fill the ranks to fight illegal undeclared wars. Our Military should remain an all volunteer force because it draws off the strength of the nation to defend its freedom. Young people should not be forced or register for selective service without their knowledge as a condition when getting or renewing their drivers license just to drive a car. This bill must not pass.

Texas Bill Introduced Will Make Specialty License Plates for Freemasons

Can you imagine if you were in an accident or going through a checkpoint. Your personal effects in the car are thrown off the road. You notice some cars passing through the check point has a expired registration sticker and inspection sticker. The Department of Public Safety State Troopers wave him through. Why because they have those specialty plates saying he is a mason.

You were a victim in a hit and run accident. The driver was intoxicated and driving like a maniac. The police stop them and see they have that masonic plate on their car. They take the driver home and tell you the victim we could not find the car that fits the description.Never mind that owner who owns the auto body shop might a fellow mason to make that car good as new in no time.

Texas House Bill 180 introduced and filed by Texas State Representative Sid Miller can make specialty license plates for Texas Masons. I have real reservations with this bill because many people in government are Freemasons. It does not matter if it is a Police officer or the County Judge. Those masonic oaths obligate them to come to the aid of another. That even means waving through a fellow mason with expired stickers while us poor suckers get the shaft.

I have nothing against the Freemasons. There are great people who were Masons who made Texas a republic. In this day and age the Order has been used to cover up corruption in the system and to deny justice. I say we say no to specialty plates for Masons because of this.

Texas Senate Resolution Calls for a Constitutional Convention

Click Here! Learn How to be energy independent

The Texas State Legislator convenes next month January 11,2011. If we are not careful little bills like this can slip under the radar without a word. We are all frustrated with Washington and the out of control spending more than it takes in. We can not get spending under control until we deal with the Federal Reserve System printing money out of thin air. The Federal Reserve Bank has to be abolished.
Texas Senate Joint Resolution 10 calls for a Constitutional Convention to propose a Balanced Budget Amendment to be amended to the US Constitution. This is no more than a Trojan horse to make changes the globalist to use to take away the right to free speech, religion and the the right to keep and bear arms. We do not need a Con Con. Do not be deceived by the need for convention to propose a balanced budget amendment.
Instead of bills like these. What we want to as Texans. We must learn it all starts with the states We need to pressure our state legislators to investigate the validity of the 16th and 17th Amendments of the US Constitution. Was it ratified? Was the Texas State Legislator in session in 1913?Was there a vote to ratify these amendments on the floor in the State house or Senate in Austin?I think we need to find out what amendments were legally ratified. The question of even the 14th amendment during Reconstruction after the war of northern aggression being illegally ratified since Texas had no representation to call a vote for ratification.  They had no legislator to call into session because of Federal occupation of Texas.
We need to undue the damage on a state level first with the 16th amendment creating the crippling income tax.The 17th amendment taking away the States government's representation in US congress making our US Senators being sold to the highest bidder beholden special interest or high powered lobbyist out of reach of the State legislators.
We do not need a Constitutional Convention to propose a Balanced Budget Amendment. It is a Trojan Horse by the globalist to make changes to our Constitution were there is no Bill of Rights. Do not be fooled by a Balanced Budget Amendment  is a cure all to fiscal recklessness coming out of Washington DC. It is when we repeal the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 and return to a honest sound monetary policy. Than such a proposal becomes irrelevant.
