No Surrender,Not Retreat,Boehner Needs to Go if he Cannot Say No to More Debt.

Just for the record to my readers, I would like to point out. I have never pinned my hopes on this group of congressional representatives. I can see why now more than ever I should never put my faith into weak-kneed politicians who like to make deals with the people most hated. This is the reason why many democrats are not in office anymore.  We the people have nothing in common with them. Especially the President.  The people put the Republicans in power in Congress to be a stopgap against the president and his agenda.

Now with this talk on the debt ceiling and spending. The deal they are trying to make is obligating a future president and congress to spending cuts with a balanced budget. That is what the president wants. He wants to borrow billions or trillions to fund his monster called big government trying to obligate the next president and congress to spending cuts. Not going to happen, it never works, and just a public relations stunt. Even if they agree to it. It does not mean a future congress and president will honor the agreement. It is just smoke and mirrors.

Speaker of the House Boehner better learn he was placed there to stop the spending. We want no more borrowing and we do not care if the government shuts down if they cannot come up with an agreement or a budget. There is war inside the Republican Party between big government neo-cons and the tea party people for sound money and stopping the growth of government. No raising taxes and not more borrowing is the mandate of the people who sent them to Congress. We want real cuts in spending. Maybe not raising the debt ceiling will save the value of the dollar and stabilize the currency since the government has to live within its means. That is if the Federal Reserve Bank can stop printing money.

To Mr. Speaker Boehner who talks a lot, he does nothing, and caves in. It is not hard to say no, to what Obama wants. It is time you do your job and stop these illegal wars. No more deals and there is no coming to an understanding with a socialist. The American people have nothing in common with these authoritarians and big government politicians. Neither should you. I would not waste my time with them in talks. No deals and no compromise whatsoever or there will be consequences. The moment you cave in and make a deal. That shows the Obama White House your weakness. Before the Speaker of the House knows, and it is too late. Mr. Boehner will be eating out of the President's hand.

This is not the time to show any weakness to the White House. There is no figure in history that ever was great who compromised. Sen. Henry Clay called the great compromiser. His deals brought us to a civil war over time. True leadership comes from holding the line and not giving in to the pressure. True leaders stand for what is right no matter what the other side does. True leaders always prevail when they do not budge. This is what makes good leaders.

The vote comes up for raising the debt ceiling in the House of Representatives this August, the decisive moment. If Speaker of the House Boehner and the rest of the house leaders. They clap and pat themselves on the back for being swell people because they made an agreement to allow the president to borrow what he wants in return cut spending. Same old song and dance routine were nothing changes and always stays the same. That is not leadership. This is the time we need not just give Boehner the boot out of the Speaker's Chair. Let kick him out of Washington DC. He has been the problem all this time, not the solution. No more borrowing, no more excessive spending, which is why we are in such a mess as it is and until the borrowing stops now. Then we can expect nothing will change.

  1. Correction:

We the people don't have anything in common with Democrats or Republicans.

Neither represent us. They both represent the banks and the giant corporations.

  2. Don't be an uniformed twat, LSW, in 1945 debt was 120% of GDP and we beat it by growing the economy, not taxing the workers to death. I would assume from your lame rhetorical stance that you are wither independently wealthy or have no family members who get assistance from the VA, social Security or Medicare. If you do (and most families do) then a default will mean UTTER DISASTER for you and yours. If you would like to see your parents starving under a freeway which is itself verging on collapse, go on with default and austerity. Unitl the people that crashed the economy are sufficiently stripped of their ill-gotten gain those are the alternatives: brutal austerity or default and world-wide economic panic and collapse.
    Choose carefully!

  3. Wow, John of Orange, the head of the Zionist Occupation in Congress, a man who cannot say no to a lobbyist is worthy of your hopes & accolades? You are worse than the legions of lobotomized Obamanoids, sorry to say.

  4. Yes, many Americans will suffer if the government shuts down. On the other hand, many third-world traditional communities suffer bombings, torture and rape at the hand of our government as it tries to reprogram them to transform themselves into hedonistic consumers like us.

No one with a conscience can forward the simplistic argument that since a government shutdown would hurt those close to them, it is necesarily the worst option. That in itself is tribalism and the root of racism. In terms of human freedom, collapse would be better than austerity.

And since the tea party was the only group capable of mobilizing enough people to hold the bankers accountable but the left simply stood on the sidelines and demonized the tea party until it finally turned into the very monster the left wanted, there is little chance of ever stripping the white-collar criminals of their ill-gotten gains. We can default or we can accept that our children will be born into debt slavery.

  5. Actually not. We don't need debt and we don't need most taxes.

Consider this simple problem. Suppose you needed to buy a car and in your garage you had a printing press that could print money and it was legal for you to do it. Would you go to the bank and borrow money for your car or would you print money and then give the money to the dealer for the car? Of course you would print it and not go into debt.

We know that it is illegal for us to print money but governments are allowed to do it. But they don't. We think they do, but they don't. If they did, we wouldn't have government debt.

So why when the government needs to build a bridge or an aircraft carrier does it borrow the money instead of printing it? Answer -- the bankers got the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 passed and the Income Amendment passed in 1913 which forced the government to borrow money from the banks and forced the citizenry to pay for this borrowed money with income taxes. The federal reserve act essentially allows banks to print the money and has taken that right from the government.

Almost all Americans think the government prints money. We are told that all the time. It is a myth. In actuality, it is not the government printing it. It is the banks printing it (out of thin air just like you printing money in your garage) and loaning it to the government. Then we pay principal and interest on the loan the banks have made to the government. The government has to tax us to pay the interest on the debt as well as the principal of the debt.

What we need is monetary reform. We need to return the currency printing press to the government and take it back from the bankers who got the right with passage of the Federal Reserve Act.

When governments can print their own sovereign money, they do not need to tax for much. They can print the money they need for bridges and aircraft carriers and health care and spend it into circulation. But the world wide bankers want none of this. They want us continually going into debt and paying for that debt with taxes.

To learn about the history of how the US lost its right to print its own currency and the monetary reform necessary for government to take back the powers of printing money and the right to control the money supply, please see the excellent video, The Money Masters by Bill Still on youtube. Its a 3 and 1/2 hour video so make sure you get the full version.

Ben Franklin supposedly said that the real reason for the American Revolution was that the American colonies lost their right to print their own money and were forced by an act of Parliament to use the money created by the Bank of England, a private bank. In less than a year, Americans went from prosperity to destitution.

The early Americans and many of their leaders and presidents essentially fought the European banks and American banks for the right of the US government to print and control the currency until 1913. That's when the banks won the war for the last time with the passage of the federal reserve act.

Bill Still's video, which reviews the history of money in great detail, will change everything you thought you knew about economics and banking. You will be appalled at how we have been had by the banks, once you learn our history.

That is why I say it is a false dichotomy to have to choose between Democrats and Republicans.

  6. "There is no figure in history that ever was great who compromised."

I think James Monroe, 5th president of the United States, would disagree. Missouri Compromise, and all that.

Edmund Burke, an English parliament member without whose help the American Revolution may have arguably never happened, said, "All government,—indeed, every human benefit and enjoyment, every virtue and every prudent act,—is founded on compromise and barter."

But on a basic level, all of us compromise. A society is a collection of people, who make constant compromises.

We compromise on what to wear out in public. Some guys say, "I want to go outside totally nude". Society says, "fully clothed". We compromise. That's the essence of society. A balance of needs between two disagreeing parties.

"True leadership comes from holding the line and not giving in to the pressure."

True leadership is flexible. True leadership is NOT picking a course then blindly following it. The war in Afghanistan continues to this day because Bush's idea of leadership is just like yours. "Holding the line". Well, we've been holding that line for 10 years. Wouldn't TRUE leadership be to reevaluate that situation?

Art of War: "Nothing in the world is more flexible and yielding than water. Yet when it attacks the firm and the strong, none can withstand it, because they have no way to change it. So the flexible overcome the adamant, the yielding overcome the forceful."

And really I just don't get what you are arguing here. That Boehner shouldn't even TALK? That he shouldn't even sit down at the negotiating table?

Is that what you are suggesting?
