Texas, I Rather We Secede Than Be Ruled by a Super Congress and a Dictator.

Hearing about the new Super Congress being imposed on us sounds like the Supreme Soviet under the communist system in Russia. We do not need a super congress. This new creation outside the Constitution does not exist and violates the separation of powers since the President sits on a new committee that will circumvent our republican form of government. So what solution do the people of Texas have? Very simple solution sets us free from the chains of Washington DC.

That is secession from the union. Texas is the only state that exists only by treaty compared to other states. We are the 10th largest economy in the world and have every characteristic of being our own republic that can sustain itself. Since the war of northern aggression, Abe Lincoln was President waging a confrontation against the south. Texas has been subjugated to every tyrannical law from Washington DC after reconstruction that has eroded the rights of Texans to self-government.

We are not using today as an excuse to secede. It has been a long time coming since 1913 when the Federal Reserve act, the 16th and 17th amendments illegally were ratified. No laws ever since that year have been good for Texas. Texas has been forced under the heavy hand of an out of control Federal government. The 16th amendment has been robbing Texas through taxes. The 17th Amendment has taken away the state legislators any form of representation in the US government by appointing US Senators. With the Federal Reserve Act, we have become slaves to a debt-based currency that will subject our children and grandchildren to a lifetime of involuntary servitude.

Now with the new debt deal that will create massive hyperinflation as long we use this Federal Reserve Note as our means of exchange of good and services. Government will go into further debt 2.4 trillion dollars that bring our total national debt over 16 trillion that exceeds the GDP. What is worse is the creation of a super congress that I see as a Star Chamber committee that will over ride the will of the people. This is more of a threat to the sovereignty of Texas than any other law on the books. We can see the worse laws coming out of this committee. We can see tax increases and paying carbon taxes. Our right to keep and bear arms and the abolition of private property ownership is in peril too by this unaccountable committee. Do not forget small family farms and ranches are under attack by the USDA and the FDA. The FBI and the BATF harass gun Shops. We cannot build new coal powered plants, drill our own oil and build new refineries because of the EPA stands in the way. Small Businesses are bearing the burden with draconian regulations by every alphabet soup agency out of Washington DC. Why do we Texans put up with this?

When I seen the US Justice Department twist the arms of state senators threatening a siege over Texas air space because we would have forbidden the TSA from groping people at the airports. That means it is time to leave the union. It is time we have a fresh start free from the heavy hand of Washington DC. The day we declare our independence is a new beginning. It is the day we are free from Federal tyranny and our right to self govern is restored. Texas will lead the world once we are free. When the TSA is gone from Texas, I can see Texas become a major transcontinental travel hub between the Atlantic and the Pacific continents when the federal goons committing legalized sexual assault are no more. Many international travelers will love it. We can have an interest free currency backed by a tangible commodity with no usury. We can start over with a clean slate. Secession will be a day of jubilee

State rights and state sovereignty will not work. It will take well over 100 years to repeal all the bad laws on the books until our government is back in the confines of the Constitution. That would be one hell of a fight not worth our time. The other choice is Texas secession and start over. Do you agree? Independence or a Dictatorship we will live under either way. The choice is which one will govern us or will we self govern.

  1. I agree. We can be self sufficient. We can coin our own money in silver and gold and have our own state bank. We can bring our troops back from places where they don't belong.

Let's give every federal employee 24 hours to leave Texas. Any federal property they do not take with them belongs to the people of Texas after the deadline.

  2. Secession ends the DC insanity and tyranny. But I do not believe that Texans will secede before the economic collapse and the collapse of the dollar. I do not believe that Texas politicians will ever get backbone. I believe that secession will have to come from the grassroots and usurp the Austin government.

  4. I was born and raised in Texas in fact my middle name is Austin. I was forced into exile in Oregon 5 years ago and have been longing to return and claim my birth right. All the good Texans are uniting slowly but unstoppably to put an end to this tyranny. When Texas secedes I will be there on the front lines and I hope to see you standing next to me. Remember the Alamo! Remember Goliad! And most of all remember Victory or Death!

  7. Finding it more and more difficult that the lucid points and feelings expressed here, coupled with the terrible attempts at propper written english are too much to finally believe as legitimate. Me thinks thou art an imposter and G-man plant. This, "what is ya ignernt?" ploy coupled with very intelligable cogent arguments do not jibe together at all. I was one of those who stuck up for the blog when everyone was complaining about the typing errors and syntax. Now, not so much. No one writes the way you do and at the same time picks the specific points you do with the acumen of a scholar and writes like a troglodite, and I know my trogs. I've gotten lazy, back in the day I'd find your ISP and much, much, more about you, but it's all lies these days.

  9. Running away isn't going to solve the problems we face in America. You are as much to blame for the issues we face today as any of the rest of the 50 states. You might think that you're "all that" but you are no different than any other Americans. Besides, can you imagine how depraved the rest of America would feel if we couldn't ever have another president like W from Texas?

  10. To the owner of the board and others with brains:

NOBODY mentions the FACT the Federal Reserve was only charted for 100 years.

The year 2000 was an addional LEAP YEAR.

The Federal Reserve has been a corporation for 99 years and 8 months. Now this does NOT include "Leap years"! I've not done the math! But I can this - its BEFORE the end of 2012.

None the less people listen to me. All DEBTS owed are fake papers made up by a soon defunct corporation (the Federal Reserve) - and do you think for one second that Congress could successfully reinstituted? I requires 2/3's of the Congress to do that - NO DAMNED WAY!

Who is the BATF? The IRS? The FBI? The CIA? The FDA? The xxx? - you name it? They are ALL subordinate collectors and agents for the FEDERAL RESERVE!

My point is this: Why do you think they all trumpet the "end of the world in 2012" so loudly? And who do they trumpet this crap to? THE MASSES - THE SHEOPLE!

    NO NO NO!

Its the end of THEIR WORLD! AS THEY KNOW IT! And they are attempting to SCARE US ALL INTO SHEEP!

    NO!

Expose this simple fact. Let everyone know that their "debt" is ZERO in about 1 year. They owe NOTHING! There will be NO FEDERAL RESERVE CORPORTATION - Its Charter will be EXPIRED!

So F*@K THEM - DEFAULT! Each of you. STOP PAYING THEM! NOW and LIVE with your families!

  11. "coupled with the terrible attempts at propper written english are too much to finally believe as legitimate. "

Yeah Ive been thinking that too. He's like a literate idiot or something. Knows all these facts but presents them really badly.

What really got me though, is him saying, "war of northern aggression". Thats just too clichéd. I smell a rat.

  12. First, arm all of Texas and then swear once and for all to this time really uphold the CONSTITUTION! Any state in agreement may join. This civil war will be for all the marbles, no surrender, no prisoners!

  13. I wanna move to texas

    ReplyDelete
  14. Right! Secede! (Believe me, this is how you spell the word). Literate idiot or not is not the point! What is the point is that in 1997 there was a Standoff out here in far west Texas, the "Republic of Texas Standoff" that only a handful of folks supported. True, Rick McLaren was a demagogue (and born in Ohio to boot), but what support did he get? Zero, Nada, Zilch--and you folks actually think that a state where 70 percent are on the Federal Govt. teet (veterans benefits, welfare benefits, social security-medicare benefits, local and state as well as fedgov benefits, this benefit and that benefit) are actually going to support a secession movement when they didn't support it 15 years ago? Keep on dreamin' folks...

  15. Funny, the guy complaining about proper English, spelled it with two P's! He wrote "propper"! It's always hilarious to see an idiot calling someone else an idiot!

  16. I see youse guys point for this secede business. But keep in mind the corruption LBJ and Bush brought to this disgusting national mess and all the suffering of their tyranny inflicted elsewhere and the status for Houston being one of the dirtiest polluted cities in America with Houston's public hospital being the largest maternity hospital in the world outside of India due to illegal alien births. America stands as a forrest in its unity holds up the tall trees. A tall tree alone is soon brought down by the winds. Dump the hoods, not statehood. Stand up against something worth getting rid of. Things will then improve for Texas.

  17. As long as uncle Ricky and his crony Texas congress are in power... there will be NO secession. Texas needs to secede from it's own corrupt government before thinking national.

    ReplyDelete
  18. No offense, but as a Yankee I'd rather Texas secede too.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I wish Florida would secede but its too corrupt.

  20. Ya, ok. First of all, it was Ron Paul who floated this hyperbolic misnomer of it being a 'super congress'. In fact, it is an ad hoc committee just like every other committee on Capital Hill. And given that the Republicans who will sit on it will most likely have signed Grover Norquist's idiotic pledge, the chances that this committee will reach agreeement on anything is slim to none. http://hotair.com/archives/2011/08/04/super-congress-super-committee-super-hyperbole/

    ReplyDelete
  21. YA, OK. First of all, it was not Ron Paul who floated this hyperbolic misnomer of it being a 'super congress'. Harry Reid floated it out there along with McConnell.

Secondly, Texas does not have the leadership minds nor the support of the general sheople to undertake such a bold heroic stand against the tyrannical tentacles of this blood/life sucking machine that runs under the guise of Democracy.

Let us hope, when the showdown arrives at our doorstep, liberty and freedom stand. Otherwise, we will have nothing resembling the country I, and suspect many of you, grew up in.

  22. The people of Texas must first dis-ban the state government. A tough thing to do. Then and only then will a united Texan revolt be possible.
How many are willing to present their fortunes, lives and future to battle..remember the Alamo??..a great many of those that died there were volunteers from other areas..like most of us fat Americans..Texicans waited in the wings to see which way the wind blew..how many would stand and cross the line in the sand..not many I would think.

  23. NobodysaysBOO!:
good read thanks again rm for the free speech zone, the 2 post above REALLY got it almost right, there are no ANGLO leaders in Texas worth warm spit!
The Mexican community is however QUITE different, their leaders are active in every town and village, their ARMY in not in the middle east it is working in the usa sending cash home along with anything stealable.
Texas would never have freed itself from Mexico without the help of MEXICANS! Pissed off Mexicans that hated Santa Anna.
Perhaps the question should be "Do Mexicans hate obamabush enough to help TEXAS become a republic again?" Risking life and fortune, perhaps getting nueked?
ONE GREAT TEXAN said"The great sucking sound was your jobs being taken away" got it right ,just like Ron Paul then chickened out, would Ron Pual support Texas leaving the union?
    So who will stand up?

  24. Ron Paul for President of Texas

  27. Great blog.

I agree with many of the thoughts here. One historical correction, though. The Republic of Texas was bankrupt upon entry to the Union & actually wanted IN badly.

Texas is in much better shape now, however, and could probably sustain itself as a sovereign nation. I'm all for it. I'd move there.

  28. I'm from Ohio. May I join you?

    ReplyDelete
  29. So, if you secede, can we come join you? We'd bring a family with skills and a desire to work. :)

  30. We would certainly leave our state and love to join Texas. We will help Texas thrive and grow and contribute as much as we can. We are tired of our oppresive government and want to go to a land of freedom. Freedom from this oppresive, dictatorial Congress and President and Supreme Court which voted 8-1 to allow search and seizure without a warrent. The US has lost its rights under this president. So YES WE'D LOVE TO JOIN TEXAS, AND WILL NOT BE ANOTHER SLUGGARD DEPENDENT ON GOVERNMENT, NOT EXPECTING GOVT TO PROVIDE EVERYTHING FOR US, AND ALLOWING US OUR INDIVIDUAL FREEDOMS. AMEN FOR TEXAS.

    ReplyDelete
  31. YES YES YES, praise whatever deity suits your fancy.
The Republic of Texas; respecting the sovereignty and dignity of the individual first.

Texas' secession would be the one thing that will keep me from leaving this country...otherwise, I'm outta here.

Go draw lines on someone else's parchment!
Soon you will hear from Texas' real owner: It's
Creator, We've not been good stewards of anything he left in our trusts. If you want another chance, you'll have to go through Jesus Christ! Like it or not.

  34. That might be a plan, if we actually had any leaders in Texas with a pair ofCojones left. I have give one credit for his courage, against the howling P.C. liberals Gov Rick Perry, has not backed down on the Aug 6 event in Houston. The others may be too well fed lap cats to want to leave thier fat congressional pay checks behind.

It was good enough for Alex Jones to carry it on Infowars today. I was too the point and straight forward expressing what I am thinking. Sorry those strict grammar rules just stand in the way.

  39. Did you know that hedge fund managers get the same tax rates than teachers (in the US)?

I am not that sophisticated (of course), but when the very rich and corporations will pay their fair share, union employees will pay theirs! I am not all for unions, mind you! There is dead wood everywhere and it needs to be cleaned up! But, deregulations and mortages issues created dead wood too. In other words, maybe if the number of ombudsmen (government) had been higher, maybe the 2008 crash might have been less severe!

In 1985, there were 13 American billionaires. In 2008, there are over 1000.

    http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article28703.htm

While I am sure that most of what Texans are for cuts, cuts, cuts! I hope they are okay with cutting their fat income (and the very rich) MORE by increasing taxes! That mean! They would have to pay more taxes! Are they okay with that? Oh! And that mean AFTER theirs accountants find all kinds of loopholes like some companies and the very rich use.

Texans are for cutting loopholes and paying more taxes?

I am not that sophisticated, of course, but I know that the very rich will always have a lot MORE money even if the tax rate is at a FLAT 99% rate! Not suggestng that we do that, of course! I know I am not that sophisticated like Texans, but I know what is fair!
