I though I would never see this in my lifetime. I used to watch movies like the Deer Hunter to even in Rambo movies seeing the Russians and Vietnamese soldier using torture against the Americans to demonize our enemies . Hollywood the propaganda machine now glorifies torture in Television series like 24 where even Rush Limbaugh,The Department of Homeland Security and the Cast all seen the show as a means to glorify torture as a necessary means for national security.
With the recent so called hoax of killing Osama Bin Laden. We hear the mantra from the talking heads in the controlled press is this would not be possible without enhanced interrogation techniques.The truth is any method torture used Many intelligence experts will say that have been effectively interrogating prisoners for years will beg to differ.Mark Koernke before being part of the Michigan Militia was part of Army Intelligence has said on record"Once a person resorts to torture.It is not an effective way to extract information"even under the most dire circumstances is not fruitful in getting results.
Last night watching the Presidential debate. I find it hard to believe this was even a campaign issue. We can see the neo cons justifying torture as what led us to Osama Bin Laden which is a story unraveling as every hour goes by.The word "Enhanced" .Whether be "Enhanced"interrogation techniques using sleep deprivation and water boarding or "Enhanced" pat downs which is legalized sexual assault at the airports to board a plane has proven not stop terrorist in any way. Showing to be "Enhanced" at the airports and in a foreign lands questioning suspects has created more victims than terrorism did combined since Sept 11 2001. For some of these candidates to justify torture and black sites overseas and at Gitmo as an effective method for national security does not have my vote.
The issue of torture should not have been an issue. President Bush should be on trial for war crimes just just as the people of Abu Ghraib were prosecuted for following the orders of the White House. It is insane how they are beating a dieing horse rolling out John Yoo who written the patriot act and this Bin Laden fiasco that is now a hoax to sell torture all over the news channels. We must keep in mind.As Americans we must abhor torture and tell these candidates who advocate it will be held accountable. Not in our name again will torture be used again. Only Torture is what terrorist use. That is our government today.

Lady Justice, died so long ago,
court payments begin this week.

the Fine Schedule just went up.

In a simplistic sort of way,
Across a desert lit by the moon.
America lay prostrate,
Lulled by prosperity’s tune.
Beautiful thing in a world gone mad,
Everyone knows the lies being spoke.

Leaderless people, morally broke.
The globe spins on, a compact disc,
Television soothes the planet.
Hard drives quietly think away,
Politicians run the gamut.
Prostrate pricks, sucking away,
At America’s aging tit.
Pay up now, or go to jail,
They care less, how you take the hit.
They act as if it will never end,
The Nazis felt much the same.
Fortify your home, your town,
These criminals have no real shame.
The knock on the door will surely come,
Midnight terror of the state.
Theft, lies, fraud and deceit,
Social incubators of pure hate.
Hang from a rope, they surely will,
These prophets of civic duty.
After the riots, the death, the trials,
Before these pirates split the booty.
