Texas Needs Your Help.

Last Saturday on the south steps of the capital building in Texas. People seeking the independence of Texas came to together to make their voices heard to the state legislator. The event did attract media attention in Europe and the Russian Federation from media outlets like Russia Today. Ever since Saturday the political hacks have been out in full force like George Soros's group called Media matters to College law professors saying secession is not legal. I was offended hearing this College Professor in a radio interview telling the people we need a law degree to understand the State and Federal Constitutions. If find it an insult to the average Texans intelligence for them to say that. Both founding documents were written for the common man to understand. It does not take a Ivy League PHD law degree to understand the Constitution.
Right now the State lawmakers have the attention of the people of Texas and people around the nation. The Texas Nationalist Movement has been spear heading the movement to have a bill submitted to call for a vote of the people of Texas to decide do they want to be a part of the Untied States or be a Republic free from Washington DC. Many eyes of the world are watching Texas to see what they are going to do. European countries are watching Texas because many want to leave the European union . Many other states are looking at secession too and watching to see what move Texas is going to make. If Texas succeeds many states will follow. So why does Texas needs you.
The Texas nationalist movement set a up an online petition demanding state lawmakers to call for a vote of the people of Texas to decide to be independent or be a part of the United States. Even if you do not live in Texas and your state is talking secession. You signing this online petition might help your state have the political will to declare it Independence if you help Texas take that first step. Many hands make light work.

  3. Go ahead and leave the country Texas. Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out. Take your ex-Presidents and Republicans with you. Good riddence.

  5. Why do you need to vote? Why do you need to ask for permission? If the will of the people is to get out from under the communist dictatorship of the US Government, just declare independence and stop all payments to the private IRS and US govt.

The moment you ask them for anything you have acknowledged they are in control.

  6. "Succession"---how many times do I have to tell you it's "sEcession"?--I'd support if true Constitutional leaders led it and not some megalomaniac like Rick McLaren tried to do in 1996-7 (I know the guy so I know what I'm talking about...he lived a mile from my house)...but the thing is when push comes to shove most Texans will NOT vote for secession. Why? They either "derive a benefit" from the Feds or they are military (Fort Bliss, etc.) and would be unemployed if Texas seceeded.

Sorry to burst you good idea.

  8. At the moment every dollar in federal taxes that Texas sends to DC, we get about 94 cents in Federal spending. So why would we owe the government any thing?

  9. So what example should America follow, that of deficit-slaughtering, budget-cutting, seriously limited government in Texas, which has added 730,000 jobs in the past decade, or that of regulation-happy, spend-mercilessly, owe-everything, flee-this-place-quickly California, which has lost 600,000 jobs during the same period?

While not a hard question in a nation where unemployment recently shot up over 9 percent again and is dramatically expanding its unfunded entitlement promises on top of its accumulating debt, let's continue to look at some astounding facts about Texas after noting a much-repeated analysis of how it got there.

It has no state income tax, low corporate taxes, does just enough regulating to get the job done, cares for the environment without making a fetish of it, lets its legislature meet for a relatively short period just once every two years, keeps the executive branch slim and trim and is a right-to-work state where unions don't get to grab dues through governmental coercion.
